Who is responsible for retrieving the RV if it breaks down?

Depending on a variety of factors, such as the cause of the breakdown, the time required for the repairs, and the time remaining in the guest's trip, the guest or the host may be responsible for retrieving the RV and returning it to its original location.

If repairs will take longer to be completed than the time remaining in the guest's trip

In the event that the repair shop will not be able to complete the necessary repairs to the RV before the end of the guest's trip:

• The guest will be responsible for the cost of their transportation back to their residence
• The host will be responsible for the cost of the repairs as well as the cost to retrieve their RV
• The host will reimburse the guest for any unused days caused by the breakdown, as per section 4.4 of the terms of service

If the breakdown is caused by the guest, the guest will be authorized to leave the RV at the repair shop under the following conditions:

• They will be responsible for their own transportation back to their residence
• They will be responsible for the cost of the repairs as well as the costs required for the host to retrieve their RV
• They will not be reimbursed for any unused days caused by the breakdown
•  

If repairs are occurring in the middle of the guest's trip and will take a long time to be completed

In the event that the necessary repairs are occurring in the middle of the guest's trip and that they will take a long time to be completed, the guest may be allowed to leave the RV at the repair shop under the following conditions:

• The guest is able to find another RV or vehicle to continue their trip. At the end of their trip, they return the replacement vehicle and retrieve the host's RV to complete their trip and return it to the host
• If the guest is unable to retrieve the host's RV at the end of their trip, they may be responsible for the costs necessary for the host to retrieve their RV, depending on the cause of the breakdown

The guest should notify RVezy and the host regarding the next steps and, before leaving the RV or making any repairs.
