The approved driver/renter is the person who has filled out the driver application and was subsequently screened and approved.
The approved driver/renter can be the renter themselves or any other member partaking in the rental, and they will be responsible and liable for the state of RV during the whole rental period.
If more than one person will be driving or handling the RV they need to be added as a driver and approved. Anyone of the approved drivers can sign on the checklist before and after the rental.
For the rental to be insured, at least one driver must be approved, and if there are no approved drivers, the owner will not release the RV and the booking will be cancelled. At that point the booking will be considered as a renter cancellation that will follow the cancellation policy.
The approved driver/renter also needs to be present during the full rental period.
After making a payment for a booking, you will receive an email to prompt you to add a driver.
To access the form, you can log in to your account and go to My Profile > Add a Driver.
Afterwards you will need to select the country where you are licensed.

US Renters will be prompted to input their phone number, that they will be sent a verification link to. Follow the steps in the form to have your license approved.

Renters in Canada and the rest of the world will need to fill out the form and upload pictures of both sides of your driver’s license. Note that the photo format should be in .jpg or .png, and the photo size must not exceed 4MB. Scanned .pdf formats are not accepted.

*For RVs that will be delivered, this rule also applies, as there should be an assigned person who will be responsible and liable for the RV condition during the full rental period.
*In the event of any damages occurring while an unapproved driver is driving the RV, OR in the event of any damages occurring while there is no approved driver/renter on the booking, the resulting damages will not be covered by the insurance and the renter will be fully responsible for the total costs of repairs.
