Once you receive a booking request, it will be visible on your dashboard. Click on “View Details” to see the renter’s message and the full details of your potential payout.
Make sure to message back the renter as soon as possible so they are aware that you know about their interest in renting your RV.
If you cannot rent your RV for the required dates, simply decline the request by clicking on “Decline”, and if your RV is available, you can accept the request and start asking the renter about details including and not limited to: pets, smoking, pick up / drop off times and locations, as well as the renter’s experience in driving and using RVs or towing trucks, the tow hitch size and connector pins, etc.
Bear in mind that the renter should be at least 25 years old with 8 years of driving experience on a full license, so it is a good thing to verify these details too.
If you have certain conditions or restrictions to highlight in regards to the rental, make sure to mention them at the beginning of the conversation, as if the booking moves forward, you will not be able to enforce any conditions later.
If you and the renter are both satisfied on the rental conditions, then the renter will go ahead and make a payment to secure the booking.
If on the other hand, one or both parties are not satisfied, either one of you can click on “Decline” to cancel this request at no cost.
Owners can receive multiple booking requests for the same dates. The calendar won’t be blocked until a renter pays for a booking.
An owner is encouraged to accept multiple booking requests for the same dates, as there is no guarantee that a renter will pay after being accepted.
As soon as a renter pays for a booking, all other bookings requests that overlap with the paid one will be automatically declined, and the calendar will be blocked for the date.
It is also preferable that the owner informs the renters interested in booking for the same dates that there are other interested parties.
