Yes, even if you have an approved insurance application and are using RVezy's commercial insurance to protect your RV during rentals and delivery/pick up, you are still required to have a personal policy in place on your RV. The purpose of this is to insure it while it's in your regular everyday care, custody, and control. This is also a requirement set by our insurance partner for coverage to apply.
Besides, it's best practice to have your own policy; it covers your RV and your liability when you are using it outside of our platform. Furthermore, because your personal RV policy does not provide coverage when it is being rented out, RVezy's insurance policy covers you and your RV for the duration of the rental as well as during the delivery and pickup.
You can have peace of mind in knowing that if you ever have to use our commercial policy, it will not affect your personal policy, and your personal provider will not be involved with rental incidents being handled through RVezy or its providers.
