It is the responsibility of the owner and the renter to coordinate the drop-off time and location as both need to be present in order to verify the state of the RV and complete the inspection at the return of the RV.
The inspection is mandatory as when the RV returns any extra charges that might be added such as additional mileage, propane usage, late fees, damages etc. as well as the submission of a claim or dispute, will be based on the information provided.
Completing the inspection and walk-around of the RV is equally the owner's responsibility as much as it is the renter's. Documenting the condition of the RV is important, as it can be used to protect yourself in the event of a dispute or claim.
After finishing the inspection at return, the owner will go ahead and close out the booking on the platform, and if there are additional fees, they will be charged to the renter during this step.
Once the owner closes the booking, the renter will be prompted to do the same and verify the closeout charges if applicable.
After the renter closes the booking on the website, the security deposit will automatically be refunded (minus any closeout charges if applicable).
If the renter disagrees with any additional charge, they can open a dispute to reach out to our resolution team.
If the owner adds damage charges over the security deposit amount, they will be prompted to open an insurance claim, and the resolution team will be contacting both the owner and the renter to get more details.
