As per section 3.4 of the Terms of Service, it is mandatory for the owner to complete a checklist and a detailed walk through of the unit when the renter arrives to collect the RV. Failing to complete this checklist will result in any claims or disputes to be refused.
As a renter if you are not sure about operating the RV, we always recommend you get in touch with the owner and ask for help. You always have access to the owner’s phone number in the booking voucher, so don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions.
After calling the owner, make sure to document the instructions by email through the platform to keep a record of the discussion, and time and date of the troubleshooting.
If the owner did not properly show you how to use a specific feature, and at the same time you failed to ask relevant questions when in doubt then you will also be held liable for any damages caused.
