Does the renter need to notify the owner that they are crossing the US-Canada border with the RV? Updated November 19, 2021 18:42 As the renter, you need to notify the owner of your itinerary, as they need to be aware and comfortable with the locations where you will be bringing their RV. This includes crossing the US-Canada border, in either direction. In order to cross the border with the RV, the renter will need to print a copy of the booking voucher, the RV registration, the insurance certificate (provided by the owner), and the roadside assistance certificate (if roadside assistance has been selected). To access these documents, access your booking details and find them under the Booking Documents section. Please note that our insurance and roadside assistance products are valid in both Canada and the United States, except for restricted and prohibited travel areas.
