As a guest, if you get into an accident or the RV sustains any type of damage, you should first make sure that the RV and everyone involved are okay. You should then communicate directly with the host, notifying them of the situation.
Certain types of collisions may require the need to file a police report at the nearest police station and be sure to exchange contact information and insurance details with any involved third party. Additionally, you should also take detailed photos of the collision to record the date, time, and location of the incident.
If the RV is still drivable
You can carry on with your trip. Once you return the RV, you can complete the return inspection together with the host. The host is then able to open an insurance claim or submit damage charges.
If the RV is not drivable
You should notify RVezy and the host, document the condition of the unit before leaving, and you will need to have it towed to the nearest garage.
If you have selected RVezy's roadside assistance for your booking, you can call Access Roadside at 1-866-227 2213, and they will be able to tow the RV to the nearest garage.
At this point, the trip will be interrupted, and an insurance claim should be opened on the booking by the host.
As a guest, while the RV is in your care, custody and control, you will be responsible for damage charges up to the deductible in the event of an insurance claim.
