The purpose of any insurance policy is to put the owner back into the same financial position he or she was in before a loss, no better and no worse.
Insurance policies are set up to cover the actual cash value of a vehicle and its parts. When an RV is damaged in a collision, our insurance will cover the costs to repair it.
When making an insurance claim, the owner is expected to pay a betterment charge if the repairs to the RV will put it in better condition than it was in before the collision.
The owner will be notified about any betterment fees before the repair is completed.
