Whenever a dispute is opened on a booking, either by the owner or by the renter, both the renter's security deposit and the owner's second payout will be put on hold until the dispute is resolved.
The dispute resolution process may require a refund to be issued to the renter, which would come from the owner's second payout, or it may require an additional charge to the renter, which would be deducted from their security deposit.
For this reason, all funds are put on hold for the duration of the dispute until the booking has been completed.
