Completing the checklist and taking photos of the RV at the beginning and end of every rental is mandatory as per section 3.4 of the Terms of Service, and it is equally the owners responsibility as much as it is the renters.
Documenting the condition of the RV is important, as it can be used to protect yourself in the event of a dispute or claim.
As part of the checklist, you will need to take detailed photos and/or videos of the inside and outside of the RV before and after the rental. We recommend taking additional detailed photos or videos in order to fully document the condition of the RV and to protect oneself in the event of a dispute or claim. It is recommended that the renter takes their own set of photos and/or videos for even better documentation to support their point of view in relation to a dispute or claim.
The pre-arrival section (pages 1 and 2) will need to be completed by the owner before the renter arrives, and the remaining departure section will have to be filled out and signed by both the owner and the renter.
The return section will also need to be filled out and signed by both the owner and the renter and is crucial, as any extra charges that might be added such as mileage, propane usage, late fees, etc., will be based on the information provided.
For owners using the App, the electronic checklist will be available 24 hours before the start of the trip and should be filled out in the same order mentioned above.
It is advised for the owners to have a backup printed version in case there are internet connection issues in the area of the RV handover.
The quicker RVezy’s resolution team receives the necessary documentation, the faster a resolution can be made.
Please note that failure to provide the checklists may result in the dispute or claim to be void.
