After you return the RV to the owner and go through the return checklist, the owner will close out the booking on the website or the app and might submit additional charges if incurred during the rental period such as extra mileage, or damages.
If you do not agree with the additional closing or damage charges, or are seeking reimbursement etc. you can open a dispute by reviewing the owner’s closeout from your dashboard and clicking on the dispute button in the booking details page.
Be sure to provide a detailed explanation as to why the dispute was opened and what you are seeking in return.
As part of the checklist, make sure to take all the necessary photos when the RV is collected and returned to document well the state of the RV in order to avoid disagreement in regards to additional charges.
Once a dispute has been opened a member from the resolution team will reach out to gather information and will ask for all the pertinent documentation to assist in the resolution process.
Please note that the security deposit as well as the owner’s second payout will temporarily be held by RVezy until a resolution is reached.
