  • How can I reset my password?

    Can't log in to your RVezy account? Don't worry, you can easily reset your password and get access to your account again.

     

    If you signed up by email

    On the RVezy login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address on the next page. Shortly after clicking "Reset Password", you should receive an email with instructions on how to do so. Once your password has been reset, you can regain access to your RVezy account.

    If you signed up through Google, Facebook, or Apple

    As your RVezy account is tied to a third-party account (Google, Facebook, or Apple), you can't reset your password on RVezy. You'll have to access your third-party account directly and reset your password there to regain access to your RVezy account.

  • How do I verify my account?

    All RVezy users are required to verify their accounts in order to use our platform. The goal of this process is to make RVezy a safer and more secure community by ensuring that the identity of every user on our platform has been verified.

    Accessing your account verification

    In order to have access to verify your account, head to the Profile section of your account or click on the notification on the Home screen of your RVezy App.

    You'll be brought to your Account Settings, where you can obtain your verification link. The phone number you provided in your account details will already be there, so you can simply click on Send Verification Text. If you would like to receive the text at a different number, you can change it at this step.

    Please note that the phone number entered must be a mobile number and cannot be a landline number.

    You'll receive a text from RVezy with your verification link on your mobile phone.

     

     

    Completing your account verification

    Once you have clicked on the verification link, you will be brought to a web page on your phone.

     

    Important note for guests: On this page, you'll have the option to either verify your account and add yourself as an approved driver at the same time, or simply verify your account.

    If you want to verify your account and add yourself as an approved driver, click here for more details on this process. If you simply want to verify your account, keep reading below.

     

    Click on Start Account Verification to begin the process. You'll be asked to quickly verify your account information such as name, phone number, and email address.

    After confirming that this information is correct, make sure to have your driver's license handy and click on Upload Driver's License to begin verifying your account.

    The web page will request access to your camera in order to proceed. Please make sure to click Allow, otherwise you will not be able to proceed with your verification.

    If you're not prompted to allow your camera permission and the photo page remains blank, you might have to enable access directly from your phone settings.

    After allowing access to your camera, you will then be prompted to take a photo of your driver's license. Follow the prompts on your screen asking you to hold steady or move your camera away. After doing so a few times, the software will automatically take a clear and accurate photo of your driver's license - no need for you to click any buttons.

     

    Best practices for taking photos of your ID

    • Make sure your license is on a clear, flat surface.
    • Make sure all the edges of the license are visible in the photo.
    • Make sure there is clear lighting and avoid any glares when possible.

    After completing this step, you will be asked to take a selfie. Your phone camera will automatically switch to your front camera to show your face. Again, follow the prompts on your screen asking you to hold your phone further and closer to your face until the software can capture your selfie. 

     

    Best practices for taking a photo of yourself

    • Make sure you're not wearing any hats, glasses, or other accessories that are not in your ID photo.
    • Make sure your full face is captured and is visible in the photo.
    • Make sure there is clear lighting and avoid any glares when possible.

    Once you have successfully completed the selfie portion, you will be brought to another screen confirming that your account verification was successful. You will receive an email from our Customer Success team within 24-48 hours updating you on the status of your application.

     

    Troubleshooting 

    If you're having difficulty completing your account verification, please try the below troubleshooting suggestions first:

    • After sending the verification link to your phone: If the link isn't loading, there could be an issue with your network connection.
      • If you're connected to a Wi-Fi network, try disconnecting from your Wi-Fi and tap the link again.
      • If you're using a data connection and are not able to load the link, try connecting to a Wi-Fi network and click the link again with the Wi-Fi enabled.
      • If none of the above suggestions work, try copying the verification link from the text message and pasting it in your browser, rather than clicking directly on the link.
    • When trying to take a photo of your driver's license
      • Put your driver's license on a clear, flat surface.
      • Make sure you're in a location with clear lighting so that there is no glare obstructing your license.
    • When trying to take your selfie:
      • Remove any accessories (hat, glasses, etc.) that may be obstructing your face.
      • Make sure you're in a location with clear lighting so that there is no glare or no shadows obstructing your face.

     

    If you are having issues with your account verification and you have tried the troubleshooting suggestions above, please try to complete the account verification on a different device.

  • Why do I need to verify my identity?

    At RVezy, we are always working to make our platform as secure as possible for all of our users. That's why you'll be prompted to verify your account as soon as you sign up by submitting your driver's license and a selfie to confirm your identity. This process helps keep RVezy safe by preventing fraudulent users from using our platform.

     

    How does it work?  

    You will be asked to enter your phone number to begin the process. If the phone number entered is different from the one you signed up with you may be asked to save that as your primary number, so we can reach you in the future regarding details of any future bookings.

    When you are asked to confirm your identity, you'll need to add a photo of a government-issued ID (driver's license or passport). Additionally, you will be asked to take a photo of yourself.

    Your photo ID card must match the first and last name which you used to create your RVezy account and the selfie you take must match the photo on your ID. If your ID doesn't appear to be valid, you may lose certain booking capabilities within the platform and future bookings may be canceled.

    When do I need to complete this account verification?

    As a guest, you can verify your identity as soon as you create your RVezy account. While we highly recommend completing it right away, it's not yet mandatory to continue navigating the platform. You will still be able to search for RVs in your area, send a booking request to a host, and even pay for your booking. 

    Your account verification becomes mandatory once you've reserved an RV for your trip as it is required to access your rental agreement.

     

    As a host, it's mandatory to complete your account verification before your RV listing can be published live on the site.


    Types of ID

    RVezy only accepts official government-issued photo ID, which includes driver's licenses and passports. Temporary paper licenses will not be accepted.

    Privacy

    Here at RVezy, we take your privacy and security very seriously. The information you provide through your account verification is governed by our terms of service and is protected by the same secure encryption technology used to process online credit card transactions. Your identification details will be screened and verified by a third-party system made available to us.

    The following information may be provided: 

    • The first name and first initial of your last name on your ID
    • Whether your ID verification was successful
    • Your profile photo

    The following information will never be shared with an RV host or traveler who uses RVezy: 

    • The photo of your ID
    • The photo you take of yourself during the ID verification
    • Any information listed on the government-issued ID

  • Do I need to create an account to use RVezy?

    You will be able to browse through the RVezy website and app without having to create an account.

    As an RV host, if you wish to list your RV for rent, you will need to create an account.

    As a guest, if you wish to rent an RV for your trip, you will be able to search for RVs in your area and view the listings without signing up. However, once you've decided which RV you'd like to rent, you will need to create an account in order to send a booking request or a message to the RV host.

    As an RV host, once you have submitted your banking information through your profile, no one will be able to access it or see it, not even RVezy staff. As a security measure, the form will appear blank after you have submitted your information.

    As a guest, the credit card information you provide to pay for your booking(s) is encrypted and RVezy staff will only have access to the last four digits of your card number as well as its expiration date.

    Always keep your login credentials confidential and ensure that you log out after using our services, especially on shared computers.

  • How do I create an RVezy account?

    To create an RVezy account, download the RVezy app, head to the Home page and click on Login, or if you are an RV owner interested in becoming a host, click on List your RV. On the next page, click Create Account.

    If you are using a web browser, head to rvezy.com and click on Sign Up or List an RV on the top right of the web page.  

     

     

    You can create an account by email or through Facebook, Google, or your Apple ID. We recommend signing up with your email address as this will allow you to change the email or the password on your account later on. If you sign up through Facebook or Google, your RVezy account will be linked to your Facebook/Google account, and you will not be able to change the email or password on your RVezy account in the future.

  • How can I edit my account information and password?

    To access and edit your account information, click More in the bottom right corner of the RVezy App.

    In Account Settings, you can edit your personal information. This includes your name, phone number, language preference, and address. This is also where you can change your RVezy account password. To change your legal name or email, please contact us.

  • How can I delete my RVezy account?

    Decided to close your RVezy account? No problem! This article will guide you through the simple steps needed to delete your account from the RVezy mobile app. Before we proceed, ensure you're logged into your account on the app.

    Note: Keep in mind that account deletion is permanent and you won't be able to retrieve any saved data or listings once it's deleted. Your personal data will be deleted in accordance with applicable law.

     

    Step-by-Step Guide to Deleting Your Account

    • Open the RVezy mobile app and log in if you're not already.
    • Navigate to the bottom right corner and tap the "More" tab.
    • Select "Account Settings" from the list provided.
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the Account Settings page, and tap on "Delete your account."

     

    Important Information Regarding Account Deletion

    Upon tapping "Delete your account," you'll be presented with relevant information about the deletion process and a link to our privacy policy for your reference. Remember to provide a reason for deleting your account, as this helps us understand how to improve our platform for future users.

     

    Account Deletion Restrictions

    Please note that under certain circumstances, you may not be able to delete your account immediately. These conditions include:

    • An upcoming confirmed booking;
    • A trip that ended less than 45 days ago;
    • An active insurance claim;
    • An ongoing request for money or dispute.

    In these cases, you'll need to wait until the dispute/claim has been resolved and/or the booking is completed before you can proceed with account deletion.
