  • What is an approved driver and how can I add one to my booking?

An approved driver is the individual who will be driving or towing the RV and who will be responsible and liable for the condition of the RV for the duration of the rental period. This individual therefore must be present for the full duration of the rental. This can be the guest themselves or any other person partaking in the rental.

At least one approved driver must be added to every booking, even if the RV is being delivered and will not be driven or towed by the guest. Any individual who is planning on driving or towing the RV must be added as an approved driver and fill out the application.

Failure to add an approved driver prior to your trip's start date will result in a guest cancellation in accordance with our cancellation policy

  • Why would my driver application fail?

There are a few reasons why a driver application might not be approved. Here are the most common reasons for a driver application being denied.

    1. The applicant is under 25 years old, or did not meet other eligibility requirements

In order to be eligible as a driver on our platform, you must meet certain requirements. This includes being at least 25 years old.

    2. You submitted a temporary license, or a license made of paper.

Temporary licenses, and paper licenses are not compatible with our system. Depending on your situation, we may be able to find an alternate solution. Please contact our support team for support.

    3. The photo of your driver's license or your selfie was blurry or illegible.

If a photo is blurry or illegible, the system may deny your application. You can send yourself a new link to try again, or contact support if you are having trouble.

    4. Your license is not from one of the following eligible regions: Canada, United States, Mexico, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, New Zealand.
