Can I link my RVezy calendar to other platforms?
To help better manage your bookings, you can link your RVezy calendar to other platforms such as Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal, or other RV rental platforms.
To obtain your RVezy calendar link, simply go to your RVezy calendar and scroll down to the bottom of the calendar settings on the right-hand side of the page. Under Connect calendar, click on Sync with other websites. If you have multiple listings on RVezy, make sure to select the correct listing's calendar before importing your external bookings. Note that your RV listing must be published in order to link your RVezy calendar.
Click on Connect beside Link to another calendar and copy the link provided.
Head to the platform or website of your choice to finish linking your calendar:
- Google Calendar: Follow the steps in this Google article to link your RVezy calendar in your Google Calendar. The exact steps will vary depending on the device you are using (computer, Android, or Apple device).
- Outlook: Follow the steps in this Microsoft article to link your RVezy calendar in your Outlook.
- iCal: Follow the steps in this Apple article to link your RVezy calendar on your mobile Apple device. For an Apple computer, follow the steps in this article.
- Other RV rental platforms: Access your RV calendar on the platform of your choice and click on Sync calendar to link your RVezy calendar.
Confirmed RVezy bookings will appear in the calendar of your choice once your RVezy calendar has been linked:

How can I prevent back-to-back bookings as a host?
To help hosts better manage their turnaround time between rentals, we’ve introduced a new feature: Preparation Time. This feature allows hosts to automatically block off time before and after bookings, ensuring they have adequate time to prepare their RV for the next guest. Here’s everything you need to know about this new feature.
What is Preparation Time?
Preparation Time is a customizable feature that enables hosts to automatically block out a set amount of time on their calendar before and after a confirmed booking. This ensures that you have enough time to clean, inspect, and prepare your RV for the next rental without the stress of a tight turnaround.
Managing Preparation Time as a New Host
For new hosts, managing your Preparation Time is integrated directly into the listing creation process. during the listing flow. The Preparation Time option will be defaulted to "none" until you make a selection. This ensures that your calendar is set up according to your availability needs from the start.
Managing Preparation Time as an Existing Host
For existing hosts with active or confirmed bookings, the Preparation Time feature is defaulted to "none", meaning no days will be automatically blocked unless you choose to update this setting.
This feature can be accessed in two places:
- Under Edit Listing > Preferences > Calendar settings
- Under Calendar > Availability
Options for Preparation Time
Hosts can choose between two preparation time options:
- 1-Day Block: This option blocks the start and end date of the booking, ensuring you have one full day for preparation time before and after the guest's rental period. Note that this does not block the day before the start date of an existing booking.
- 2-Day Block: This option blocks both the start/end date of the booking and the day following it, giving you two full days for preparation.
You can also decide if you would like to block time before and after each booking, only before each booking, or only after each booking.
Managing your Calendar
Once you've set your preparation time, your calendar will automatically block off the appropriate dates as soon as a booking is confirmed. This helps prevent back-to-back bookings and ensures you have the time needed to get your RV ready.
Turning off this feature will unblock any dates that were previously blocked due to preparation time for existing bookings, and no preparation time will be applied to future bookings.
Preparation Time and Trip Extensions
If a guest requests to extend their trip, the preparation time will not prevent the change from going through. If you approve the change request, the preparation time will automatically adjust to the new start or end dates.
The Preparation Time feature is a powerful tool to help you manage your rental schedule with ease. Whether you need one day or two days to prepare your RV, this feature ensures you have the time you need while keeping your availability updated and accurate for potential renters. We recommend all hosts take advantage of this feature to enhance their rental experience and provide the best service possible to their guests.

Pickup and Drop-Off Windows: What's the Deal?
With this latest update, we've designed a way for you to specify the time frames for picking up and dropping off the RV. Giving you the flexibility to set timelines that suit you best, this feature ensures a hassle-free and personalized experience. Here's how it benefits you and your guests:
- Enhanced convenience: Tailor the pickup and drop-off windows to match your availability.
- Streamlined communication: Clear pickup and drop-off windows set the rental expectations right from the start.
- Happier guests: With the timings displayed on the listing page, potential guests will appreciate your transparency and accessibility.
How to Set Your RV's Pickup and Drop-Off Windows
Configuring your pickup and drop-off windows is a breeze! Just follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your RVezy account.
- Navigate to the 'My Listings' section.
- Choose the listing you want to edit and click on 'Edit Listing.'
- Scroll to the 'Booking Preferences' section.
- Under 'Pickup window' and 'Drop-off window', select your desired timings from the dropdown menus. You can set a specific pickup and drop-off window or opt for flexible pickup and drop-off times.
- Click 'Save Changes.'
Voila! Your chosen timings will now be displayed on your listing page for potential guests to see:

What are short stays (bookings below minimum nights)?
When the short stays feature is enabled, guests have the ability to book your RV for one night less than your minimum nights. However, you will always receive the full payout for your minimum nights.
Short stay example: if you have a three-night minimum stay at $100/night, guests can book your RV for two nights for $300 (3 x $100). As such, you will receive a full payout equivalent to your minimum nights despite the shorter trip.
Important things to note:
- Guests only pay insurance and service fees for the number of nights booked.
- Guests booking below your minimum nights will be prompted to add an extra night for a small fee (equivalent to insurance cost + service fee). See the image below.
What are the benefits of short stays?
- Make more money per day — receive bookings with a higher nightly rate.
- Fill your calendar — shorter trips help fill gaps in your calendar.
- Easy on your RV — shorter trips are often close by, which means less wear and tear on your RV.
How do I enable and disable short stays?
By default, the short stays feature is enabled for all hosts. You can disable it under your RV preferences while editing your listing.

Can I sync my RVezy calendar with other calendars?
If you have your RV listed on multiple RV rental platforms, you can automatically manage your RV's availability on RVezy by importing calendars from other RV rental platforms.
This feature will help you keep your RVezy calendar up to date by automatically blocking off dates for an RV booked on other sites, helping you avoid booking requests for dates that are already booked elsewhere.
To sync an external calendar, simply go to your RVezy calendar and scroll down to the bottom of the calendar settings on the right-hand side of the page. Under Connect calendar, click on Sync with other websites. If you have multiple listings on RVezy, make sure to select the correct listing's calendar before importing your external bookings.
Click on Add calendar beside the platform of your choice and follow the instructions to obtain the link from your calendar on the other platform. Paste the URL into the text box and click Continue.
You can confirm that the calendar has been successfully synced by scrolling down to the Connect calendar section of your calendar settings once again:
Your RVezy calendar will be automatically refreshed every three hours, and you can also manually refresh it by clicking on Calendar synced at any time then clicking on the blue Sync button.
When you import other calendars, the confirmed bookings from the other platforms will be reflected on the RVezy calendar in blue or orange, depending on the platform. You will be able to see them as blocked dates and guests will not be able to send you a booking request during those dates.
Once the dates are blocked, you will not be able to unblock them manually in the RVezy calendar. If those dates become available again on the other platform, they will be unblocked on your RVezy calendar as soon as the calendar is refreshed.
If you change your mind and don't want an external calendar synced anymore, you can simply remove it form RVezy's calendar. To do that, click on Calendar synced, and Remove the external calendar. Once you remove the external calendar, any new or existing blocked dates from external bookings will no longer be blocked in the RVezy calendar.

How do I use the RV calendar to block off dates and customize prices?
The RV calendar allows you to easily manage the availability and pricing of your unit both on the RVezy website and mobile app.
Availability
All RVs are available year-round by default, but if you choose to rent out your RV seasonally, you can block your off season in your calendar preferences.
If there are any specific times throughout your rental season that you will be unavailable, you can easily update your availability by clicking on the start and end date of the period you want to block off, clicking Update Calendar, and selecting Blocked.
PricingYou can also edit your pricing for specific dates to be lower or higher than your base nightly rate. This can come in handy for busy weekends such as Canada Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, etc. where you might want to raise your price, or for the off-season where you may want to lower it.
Again, select the date range during which you wish to adjust your pricing, click Update Calendar, and update your nightly fee for the selected range.
Keep in mind that if you modify your base nightly fee in your RV listing, it will not impact the custom pricing that was set in your calendar.
Calendar View
You also have the ability to toggle back and forth between a yearly view and a monthly view of your calendar on your desktop.
The yearly view will allow you to view multiple months at a glance, while the monthly view will allow you to see the details of your bookings, pricing, and availability for a specific month.
Color Code
Dates and date ranges will appear in different colors in the RV calendar to indicate the status of that date.
- Dates that are blocked off will appear in yellow.
- The current date will appear in dark blue.
- Selected dates will appear in a lighter blue.
- Available dates will appear in white.
- Dates with a confirmed booking will appear in green.
By selecting dates that overlap with a confirmed booking, you will have the ability to click view a summary of the booking and access the booking details with a single click.
