As an RV host, you have the option to send a special offer to a guest after they submit a booking request or inquiry. This special offer enables you to propose a different rate for your rental or specific add-ons. It also allows you to adjust the overall rental value, including all services, based on your discussions with the guest.
However, sending a special offer isn't always necessary. You can use the "edit booking" feature to modify trip dates and add-ons. This feature allows you to make changes to the booking without needing to send a special offer.
When to Send a Special Offer
You can send a special offer in the following scenarios:
- You want to provide an alternate price to a guest
- You want to edit the booking to add delivery or change Add-ons prices
- Your guest is not responding on time, and you want to avoid declining the booking or letting it expire
- You want to adjust and approve an inquiry you received
You can send a special offer even after accepting a booking request, provided the guest has not yet completed their payment.
Once the special offer is sent, you have the flexibility to modify it until the guest makes their payment.
Here are the situations when you can access the special offer feature:
- The guest has sent you a booking request that you now need to action
- You have already accepted a booking request, and you are waiting for the guest to make a payment
- The guest has sent you an inquiry by using the 'Ask a Question' button on your listing, and you want to pre-approve it or propose your rates to the guest.
Once the special offer is sent, you have the flexibility to modify it until the guest makes their payment.
Sending a Special Offer
After clicking on the Special Offer button, you will be able to customize your nightly rate, add-ons, and delivery on the form. You'll also have to write a message to your guest, explaining the details of your offer. After that, you will be able to send it.

Next Steps
Once you send the special offer, the guest can review it and decide whether they want to move forward with a payment or decline it. If the booking was already prepaid, the guest will need to confirm their payment again.
When the guest makes a payment, the booking will be confirmed, and your RV will be reserved for the trip dates.
