To help keep the RVezy community safe, we have measures in place to help identify and prevent bookings that are potentially higher risk. This designation is used when certain activity or information suggests an increased level of risk during the rental.
How we assess risk
Our comprehensive verification system checks details such as name, address, government-issued ID, and more to confirm the identity of guests who book on RVezy. When guests attempt to make a booking, our screening system uses signals to determine whether the booking may carry a higher risk. Based on those results, your booking may be identified as posing a higher safety risk.
Why a booking or account may be flagged
A booking may be considered high risk for several reasons. These can include:
- Inconsistencies or concerns with account or identity information
- Payment-related issues or failed verification checks
- Activity that doesn't align with RVezy's terms of service
- Signals identified through automated risk assessments
How high-risk status affects bookings
If your booking is flagged as high risk, it will be automatically cancelled. You will be notified by email and will receive a full refund. Currently, there is no way to appeal the cancellation of a booking due to high risk.
