The money you earn by renting out your RV through RVezy is claimable income. We recommend that you speak to a professional accountant to find out how to claim this income properly, as RVezy cannot provide you with any tax advice.

Accessing Detailed Payout Receipts
For a comprehensive breakdown of individual payouts, follow these steps:
- Go to My Bookings in your account.
- Select the Completed Trips tab.
- Choose a specific booking and look for the My Booking Documents section.
- Download the Payout Receipt (PDF) for a full breakdown of that booking’s payout.
Tax Documents for Canadian Hosts
RVezy does not provide an annual statement of earnings or tax documents to hosts in Canada. You can use the payout receipts and earnings data from the Insights section to assist with your tax filing.
Tax Documents for US Hosts
Accounts based in the United States or non-US accounts for a US taxpayer may receive a 1099-K form if they meet certain criteria within the tax year:
- Federal Requirements: $5,000 USD in earnings
OR
- State-Specific Requirements: Some states have lower thresholds for issuing a 1099-K.
If you meet the criteria, you’ll automatically receive a 1099-K form via email or mail from our payment processor, Stripe. If you don’t meet the criteria, a 1099-K form will not be issued, but you can still use the Insights data and payout receipts for reporting your income. For additional details, refer to Stripe’s 1099-K resource.
