As of April 29, we launched a new process on our platform that allows all owners and renters to verify their accounts. This is to help make the RVezy community safer and more secure.
Since this is a new feature, users are required to submit a photo of their driver's license as well as a selfie in order to be verified with this new process.
Follow this step-by-step guide on how to verify your account:
Login to your RVezy Account and click My Profile at the top right-hand side
The first thing you will need to do is to edit your account name to match exactly your name on your driver's license. If the name doesn't match, the verification will fail.
In the Verify Account section of My Profile, input your phone number into the text box and click Send Verification Code.
This will send an SMS to your cell phone with a link that will bring you to the verification application.
You will receive an SMS to the cell phone number provided that looks like this:
Click the link in the SMS and it will bring you to the Verification Application.
Once you have clicked the link in the SMS, you will be brought to a web page on your phone that looks like this:
From there you will be prompted to Start Account Account Verification. You will be asked to confirm your personal information before proceeding.
After confirming your information, you will be requested by the webpage to access your camera. Please make sure to allow access to your camera. The application requires a photo to be taken at the time of your Driver's License and a live-selfie.
After allowing access to your camera, you will then be prompted to take a photo of your Driver's License. The program will instruct you to hold your camera steady or to move your card away from your camera until the program is able to take a clear and accurate photo of your license for you.
Once the program has taken the photo of your license, it will prompt you to show your face. It will then take a selfie for you.
Once you have completed the selfie portion, you will receive a confirmation message informing you that the application process has been completed.
You will receive an email from our Customer Success team within 24-48 hours updating you on the status of your application.
