RVezy's policies are designed to keep all transactions secure by requiring that all bookings, payments, and communications occur within the platform. Off-platform agreements are discouraged because they lack the protections, such as insurance and dispute resolution, that RVezy provides. Adhering to these guidelines ensures a safe and seamless experience for both hosts and guests.
Payments
RVezy requires all guest payments, including for any trip extensions, add-ons, or additional charges post-trip, be processed through its platform. This requirement is in place to keep the payment process safe and organized, ensuring both parties have proper documentation in case disputes or issues arise. While exceptions can be made, they are granted only under specific circumstances as determined by RVezy.
Third Party Applications
RVezy prohibits the use of third-party applications for facilitating any aspect of the booking process, including managing reservations or communicating with guests outside the platform. Requiring guests to create additional accounts or engage with other apps complicates the booking experience and can compromise the platform's streamlined security measures. The goal of RVezy is to provide a cohesive and seamless user experience within its own ecosystem, ensuring that all interactions and transactions are conducted safely and efficiently.
Off-Platform Agreements
RVezy strongly advises hosts and guests against entering into ANY off-platform agreements or signing additional contracts that are not part of the RVezy booking process. Off-platform agreements are not covered by RVezy's terms and conditions, and RVezy will not be involved in the fulfillment or resolution of such agreements. Engaging in off-platform agreements can pose risks to both hosts and guests, as they may have a different level of protection and support provided by RVezy. Hosts are not allowed to take guests off the RVezy platform for any type of booking, whether it is a new reservation, a partial booking, or a booking for future dates. All booking-related activities, including communication, payment, and reservation management, should be conducted solely through RVezy.
Cancellations
RVezy strictly prohibits cancelling existing bookings made through the platform to redirect guests to complete their reservations off-platform. This practice not only contravenes RVezy’s terms of service but also undermines the protections and benefits designed to safeguard both hosts and guests. When a booking is canceled in favor of an off-platform arrangement, important safeguards such as insurance protections, secure payment systems, and conflict resolution support are forfeited.
Hosts who choose to redirect guests are in violation of their agreement with RVezy, which can lead to suspension or removal from the platform.
