If an accident occurs during your RV rental, ensure everyone's safety and notify the host immediately. Exchange information with other parties, document the incident, and file a police report if needed. Guests are responsible for damages up to their deductible. Contact RVezy for support during business hours.
If an accident or roadside incident occurs during your RV rental, follow these steps to manage the situation efficiently and ensure everyone's safety and security.
Immediate steps
First, make sure everyone involved is okay. Inform the host about the incident as soon as possible so they're aware and can guide you through the next steps.
Documentation and reporting
If other parties are involved, exchange contact information, and consider filing a police report based on the accident type (such as a collision). Take detailed photos and record the date, time, and location of the incident.
RV condition and trip continuation
If the RV can be driven, continue your trip and complete the return inspection with the host to document any damages. The host can then initiate an insurance claim if needed.
If the RV cannot be driven, call Access Roadside at 1 (866) 227-2213 with your booking number so they can arrange to have the RV towed to the nearest garage. You should remain at the garage until repairs are completed. Do not leave the RV at the garage without written authorization from the host and RVezy.
Trip interruptions and refunds
If you're unable to continue with your trip following the incident, you may be eligible for a trip interruption refund depending on your selected protection plan.
Guest responsibilities
As a guest, you are responsible for damages up to your selected deductible in the event of an insurance claim.
You can contact RVezy at 1 (855) 697-8399 for immediate support during our business hours.
