Searching and Booking an RV

  • Can I book an RV below the minimum nights (short stays)?

    When a host has the short stays feature enabled, you have the ability to book their RV for one night less than their minimum nights.

    Short stay example: if the host has a three-night minimum stay at $100/night, you can book their RV for two nights for $300 (3 x $100).

    Important things to note:

    • You only pay insurance and service fees for the number of nights booked.
    • When booking below a host's minimum nights, you will be prompted to add an extra night for a small fee (equivalent to insurance cost + service fee). See the image below.

  • How do I rent an RV?

    If you are interested in renting an RV, the first step is to find one that best fits your needs.

    Download the RVezy mobile app and easily enter your desired location and trip dates right from your smartphone. To select your trip dates, tap the Dates field, pick your start date, and then select your return date right after.

     

             

     

    Browse through available RVs, and use the convenient in-app filters to tailor your search to your preferences.

    You can click on any RV listing to see its photos, description, pricing, amenities, reviews, and add-ons. If you want to get more information about the RV, simply click on "Ask a question" to get in touch with them.


    You can also click on "price details" to see the breakdown of the costs associated with your specific dates. Once you've found the RV that best fits your needs and you're ready to reserve it, tap on Request to Book.

     

     

     

    Request to Book

    In order to send a booking request to the host, you'll need to fill in some information. On the first page, enter your destination and decide whether you'd like to pick up the RV or have it delivered. Ensure to select the destination from the drop down menu. You will also be asked to include a message to introduce yourself to the host.

     

       

     

    On the second page, you can select any add-ons that the host has made available. 

     

     

    Lastly, you'll be asked to provide your payment information. You can choose to enter a credit card, or use Google or Apple Pay. You won't be charged until the host accepts your request. You can also review and change your protection plan on this page.

     

           


    If the host accepts your booking request, you will be notified and will have one final chance to enter your payment information. After this, you will receive a booking voucher with the host's contact information and your booking information. Make sure to stay in touch with the host until the start of your rental to iron out the final details.

     

    NOTE: All the RVs and trailers listed on the website are privately owned. All decisions pertaining to pricing, discounts, amenities, etc. are made by the hosts, hence every listing is unique and different.

  • The host hasn't replied to my booking request yet, is that normal?

    Most hosts are quite responsive and will reply to new requests or messages within a few hours. Keep in mind that they may get busy with their personal lives, work schedules, and other daily commitments, so it's not unusual for them to take up to 24-48 hours to respond. After 48hrs, the booking request the booking request will expire.

    You can also take advantage of the InstantBook feature for a faster process. This allows you to book an RV automatically without having to wait for the host to confirm the request. RVs with the InstantBook feature enabled will be identified with a lightning bolt icon.

  • Is there a minimum rental period?

    RVezy doesn't impose any requirements for minimum rental periods, however, hosts do have the ability to set a minimum number of nights in their listing. 

    This will prevent you from sending a booking request to the host unless your trip dates meet or exceed the minimum number of rental nights they have set.

    If you want to ask the host if they'd make an exception for your request, you can send them a message using the Ask Host a Question feature. Some hosts might be willing to accommodate shorter stays at a higher nightly rate.

  • Can I get the RV delivered to a particular location?

    RVezy understands that some guests may not have the right vehicle or experience to tow a trailer, or may want the ease and comfort of having the RV delivered and set up for them directly at the campsite. For that reason, delivery is a very important service that our platform supports.

    Hosts on RVezy can choose to offer delivery, especially those who own trailers. This service will be displayed on the RV listing and a certain fee will be charged based on the distance between the RV's location and the delivery location. This fee includes the delivery, set-up, and pick-up of the RV. 





    You can find RVs that offer delivery by filtering your search results using the Delivery filter.

  • Is it mandatory to select the add-ons?

    The add-ons included in the host's listing are optional. They are offered as an additional service to make your rental experience better (for example, prepaying for the host to empty the septic tanks for you upon return) or to provide you with an extra item you may not own (for example, paying for the host to include a bike rack with the RV). 

    You can choose to select the add-ons you are interested in, or you can ask the host for more information about some of the add-ons before making a decision.

    Please note that some hosts decide to make certain add-ons mandatory, so be sure to check their listing description or enquire by sending them a message if you are unsure.

  • What is the Instant Book feature and how does it work for guests?

    The Instant Book feature allows you to book and pay for an RV immediately, without needing to send a request to the RV host and wait for their approval. This means you can plan your trip faster and with more confidence. Listings that you can instantly book are marked with the blue lightning bolt. 


     

    You can also limit your search results to only see listings with the Instant Book feature by using the search filter. 

     

       

     

    When booking an RV with Instant Book, you will be able to enter your credit card information and pay right away to confirm your booking.


    Benefits

    Instant Book is a great feature for guests looking to quickly book an RV without having to worry about waiting for responses from hosts. It makes the booking process much faster and much more convenient.

     

    Cancellations and refunds

    Hosts and guests may cancel an Instant Booking for any reason within 24 hours following the time of payment. Guests will receive a full refund in this case. Hosts will not be penalized.

    Should the guest cancel the booking after 24 hours, the cancellation policy will apply.

  • What is EZYmatch and how does it work for guests?

    The EZYmatch feature makes it easier for guests to find an RV. RV hosts can reach out to guests by sending them a special offer. This is useful if the RV you initially wanted to book is not available anymore or if you want to explore different options that better suit your needs.

     

    How it works

    When your booking requests gets declined or cancelled by a host, or even if it expires, other hosts with similar RVs in the area of your interest will be notified. Those hosts can then reach out to you and offer their RV by sending you a special offer. 

    You can review the offer and decide whether you'd like to make a payment to confirm the booking or decline the request if you're not interested.

     

    Availability

    The EZYmatch feature is enabled by default for guests. You can decide to opt out if you wish not to use this feature. To do so, click More in the bottom right of your app, then click on Features. You'll then be able to activate or deactivate the feature.

     

     

    Please note that even if you deactivate the feature, hosts who were previously notified when EZYmatch was active will still be able to contact you. 

     

    By using this feature, hosts will be able to see your profile, as well as any reviews you might have. They will also be able to see your RVing experience level, booking dates, and destination mentioned in your original booking request.
