For a successful RV handover both the owner and the renter need to be comfortable with the rental taking place.
Make sure to reconfirm all the information that was previously exchanged during your communication and to thoroughly go through the RV.
A full checklist provided by RVezy*, along with detailed photos must be completed during the key exchange to have a proper documentation of the state of the RV before it goes out.
This checklist is mandatory and crucial as at the return of the RV, any extra charges that might be added like mileage, propane usage, late fees, damages etc. as well as the submission of a claim or dispute at the end of the rental will be based on the information provided.
The owner and renter should take the time to make sure the renter is comfortable with how the RV works and fully understands all instructions, and both the renter and the owner should be 100% comfortable as soon as the RV heads out.
*For owners using the App, an electronic checklist will be provided 24 hours before the trip. Otherwise, a printable checklist can be downloaded from the booking details page.
