Departure inspection
The departure inspection is available on the RVezy app on the rental start date. It can be accessed through the home page or in the booking details.
Inspection steps:
- Verify the guest's driver's license to ensure it matches the approved driver on file.
- Document the RV's condition through photos of the interior and exterior. Note any pre-existing damage and include photos.
- Record odometer, fuel tank, black and gray water tanks, propane levels, and generator usage (if applicable).
- Review and sign a series of statements.
- Complete the inspection by signing and submitting the form.
Return inspection
The return inspection is available on the RVezy app on the last day of the rental. It can be accessed through the home page or in the booking details.
Inspection steps:
- Take photos of the interior and exterior, and of any new damage.
- Record final readings of the odometer, fuel, waste, and propane tanks, as well as generator usage (if applicable).
- Complete the inspection by signing and submitting the form.
Importance of completing the inspections
Inspections are crucial for processing disputes or claims. Failure to complete one or both of the inspections may result in the denial of any dispute or claim submitted after the rental, in accordance with section 4.5 of our terms of service.
