What is RVezy? How does this work?
RVezy is the largest and most affordable RV rental marketplace that connects travellers with RV hosts, allowing them to rent RVs in North America (excluding Mexico) in a safe and affordable way.

How does the booking process work?
As you browse the RVezy app or website, you will be able to send booking requests or enquiries to RV hosts for your trip dates. After they have accepted your request and you have asked them any relevant questions, you can then decide if that rental is appropriate for you or not. You will be able to either confirm the booking or decline the requests for RVs that don't fit your needs.
How do I make sure the rental goes smoothly?
For a successful and smooth rental process, both the host and the guest need to be comfortable with the rental taking place, and both parties should sign the rental agreement before the trip start date.
Prior to your trip, make sure to confirm all of the information that was previously exchanged during your communication with the host.
When picking up the RV, make sure to complete a thorough walkthrough of the RV with the host and complete the inspection. You should take the time necessary to make sure that you are fully comfortable with how the RV works and understand the different features. Both you and the host should be 100% comfortable as soon as the RV heads out.
What is an approved driver?
Once a booking has been paid for and confirmed, the guest will be prompted to complete a background and driving record check. This is required on every booking for insurance and security purposes, and to ensure that the guest meets the requirements to rent an RV.
Guests must be at least 25 years of age and have a full, unrestricted driver's license. Guests must also have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, as well as a valid credit card. If the requirements are met, they will be added as an Approved Driver on the booking.
Please note that this is also required even if the RV or trailer is being delivered, as there needs to be an individual who will be responsible for the RV for the duration of the rental period.
You can find more information about this process here.
How do fees and payments work?
RVezy Fees
Whenever you make a booking, RVezy applies a service fee to the total rental amount, any selected add-ons, and all closeout charges except for damage charges. Service fees are determined based on a number of factors, including lead time to the booking, RV availability in a given area, vehicle value, trip duration, and vehicle value.
A minimum service fee will be applied to all rentals if the service fee on the rental amount falls below $15/night for all motorhome rentals and $10/night for all trailer rentals.
Please note that taxes will apply based on the province/State where the RV you are renting is located.
Payments
All payments are made directly through RVezy to ensure the protection of both guests and hosts. We also encourage you to keep all communication through the website for your security and protection. RVezy accepts payment by credit card or debit Visa cards. We accept all types of credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not accept e-transfer, PayPal, cheque, prepaid cards, or other forms of payment.
For more information regarding RVezy's payment schedule, please refer to this article.
A security deposit is required for every booking and will be charged to the credit card on file three days before the start of the rental. Once the RV is returned to the host and the booking is closed out in the system, the hold on the security deposit will be cancelled.

What if I need to cancel a booking?
RVezy has put in place a fair and equitable cancellation policy for both guests and hosts.
If a guest needs to cancel a booking, the cancellation policy will be applied based on the cancellation date.
If a host needs to cancel a booking, the full amount paid by the guest will be fully refunded, including all fees and taxes.
Full cancellation information can be found here.
How does insurance work?
RVezy offers commercial insurance coverage to its hosts. If the host of the RV you are renting has qualified to use RVezy's insurance, their RV will be fully protected by our policy for the duration of the rental. This coverage includes:
- $2m Third Party Liability Coverage for Canada
- $1m Third Party Liability Coverage for the US
- Collision & Comprehensive
- Physical Damage
- Fire, Theft & Vandalism
If the host has not qualified to use RVezy's insurance, they will be responsible for providing adequate coverage for their RV, and this can be discussed with them directly.
For more information, please refer to the Insurance section of our Help Center.
How do deductibles and claims work?
The guest has the possibility to select their deductible level when sending a booking request. The insurance fee for each level of protection is calculated on a per-night basis and is calculated based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, value, age, size, and location of the RV.
There are different available deductible levels based on the RV type and location:

In case of an accident or collision, any claim will be handled by RVezy. The host will be responsible for opening the insurance claim on the RVezy website, and a member of the Resolution Team will contact both the host and the guest to collect the necessary information.
What if the RV breaks down?
RVezy has partnered with a leading roadside assistance provider as part of our trip protection offering. In the event of a breakdown or mechanical failure, RVezy's roadside coverage will ensure that the guests are able to quickly and safely get off the road to the nearest repair facility.
At that point, it will be the responsibility of the host to pay for any mechanical repairs of the RV so that the guest can continue on their vacation. In the case of a breakdown, contact the host first to let them know what is going on. If the issues are serious, please reach out to RVezy and we will be there to assist you.
How do I dispute charges?
If a host has added charges that were not agreed upon or you think are unjust, you will have the ability to dispute those charges during the review process by clicking on the "Open Dispute" button.
Once you have opened a dispute, a resolution specialist from RVezy will get in touch with both you and the host in regard to the charges to help both parties come to a fair agreement.
