What is RVezy's Superhost program?
At RVezy, we're passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for our incredible community of RV enthusiasts. That's why we launched our Superhost program, which aims to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the hosts who truly go above and beyond. In this article, we'll take a closer look at what it means to be a Superhost, the criteria for joining this elite group, and the exclusive perks that come along with the prestigious title.
Superhost perks
As an RVezy Superhost, you will get access to exclusive features which include:
- A Superhost badge on your listings and profile, to let everyone know you provide great service;
- Access to features like Instant Book and EZYmatch;
- Priority customer support;
- RVezy credits to purchase merchandise or use toward a trip once you've maintained Superhost status for a continuous 6-month period.
Becoming a Superhost
On the first of every month, we'll evaluate your hosting performance to determine whether you meet the criteria to be a Superhost. If so, you'll automatically become a Superhost for the month and have access to all of the benefits that come with the title. Every host with a minimum of one published RV listing will be automatically assessed for Superhost status - no need to apply.
Superhost requirements
To qualify for Superhost status, hosts with at least one published RV listing will need to meet the following criteria:
- 75% acceptance rate;
- 90% response rate;
- Minimum of 5 confirmed or completed bookings in the last 12 months (completed bookings must have a guest review of 4.5 stars or higher to be counted);
- 0 cancellations in the last 12 months.
Maintaining Superhost status
To keep up your Superhost status year-round, you'll need to hit your hosting performance goals throughout the year. To help get you there, take advantage of the calendar settings and listing preferences available in your listing(s).
- Make sure to download the RVezy mobile app to manage your calendar on the go and block days when you won't be available for rentals.
- Some guests book their trip a year in advance or with a few days' notice. Tailor your preferences based on what you feel comfortable accommodating.
- Adjust your preferred pickup and drop-off times to ensure you can fulfill requests.
- Customize your rules regarding guests' experience, cross-border travel, and festivals/events.
-
What requirements do I need to meet as a host?
To help create a welcoming and reliable environment for guests, we ask that all hosts meet these requirements:
- Be responsive: Respond to bookings with either a decline, accept, or special offer (or a message in the case of enquiries), within 24 hours.
- Accept trip requests: Accept requests whenever your RV is available.
- Avoid cancelling on guests: Try to avoid cancellations - they are a huge inconvenience after travelers have already made plans.
- Maintain a high overall rating: Guests expect a high level of quality and want a simple, easy trip.
Staying on top of these best practices will significantly increase your success on the RVezy platform. Additionally, using this as a framework will help you work towards becoming an RVezy Superhost. To track your progress as a host, open up your RVezy app and click on 'More' followed by 'Insights'. To learn more about how Host performance is measured, click here.

How is my performance measured as a host?
As a host, your performance is measured by four metrics which are made available to you in the RVezy app's homepage:
- Response rate
- Acceptance rate
- Confirmed bookings
- Cancellation rate
Response rate
Your response rate measures how quickly and consistently you respond to new requests and inquiries from guests. This will be made visible to guests when they are viewing your RV and in your profile.
How it worksAs a new host, your response rate will default to 100% once you receive your first booking request. After that, your response rate will be updated and averaged when you receive a total of 4 booking requests to reflect how many of these 4 requests you responded to within 24 hours.
Over time, your response rate will keep updating based on the total booking requests you’ve received. Once you cross 15 booking requests, this metric will only be based on the last 15 booking requests you have received.
It is advisable that you maintain an average of 90%, especially if you want to reach the Superhost status.
What counts as a response:
Responding to a booking means taking one of the below actions within 24 hours:
- Responding to the guest’s initial message;
- Accepting the booking request;
- Sending a special offer OR pre-approving an inquiry by sending a special offer;
- Declining the booking request.
This metric does not take into account your responses to EZYmatch results.
You can improve your response rate by:
- Responding to new booking requests within 24 hours;
- Responding to new inquiries within 24 hours;
- Using the auto-intro message in your message templates.
Acceptance rate
Your acceptance rate measures the percentage of booking requests you’ve accepted, and unlike your response rate, this metric is not public on your listing.
How it works
As a new host, your acceptance rate will default to 100% once you receive your first booking request. After that, your acceptance rate will be updated and averaged when you receive a total of 4 booking requests to reflect how many of these 4 requests you have accepted within 48 hours.
Over time, your acceptance rate will keep updating based on the total booking requests you’ve received. Once you cross 15 booking requests, this metric will only be measured on the last 15 booking requests you have received.
It is advisable that you maintain an average of 75%, especially if you want to reach the Superhost status.
What counts as an acceptance:
An acceptance means taking one of the below actions within 48 hours:
- You accept a booking request;
- You receive an Instant booking;
- You send a special offer in response to a booking request or pre-approve an inquiry.
This metric does not take into account your responses to EZYmatch results.
You can improve your acceptance rate by:
- Accepting booking requests within 48 hours;
- Sending back a special offer or pre-approving an inquiry within 48 hours;
- Turning on Instant Book (if available in your account);
- Making sure your calendar availability is updated as well as taking advantage of any preferences and calendar options.
The following do not affect your acceptance rate:
- If a booking request is automatically declined because you accepted another request with overlapping dates;
- If a booking request is declined by the guest before you have a chance to accept it;
- If a guest sends you an inquiry and you don’t pre-approve it or send a special offer.
Confirmed bookingsYour confirmed bookings measures the number of bookings that have been confirmed and/or completed in the last 12 months.
In order to achieve Superhost status, you need to have a minimum of 5 confirmed bookings.
What counts in this metric:
A confirmed booking means that it was secured with a payment, and includes:
- Any completed booking that had a trip end date within the last 12 month AND that includes at least a 4.5 star rating from the guest;
- Any confirmed booking that was secured with a first payment within the last 12 months.
This metric takes into account confirmed bookings from EZYmatch results.
Cancellations
Your cancellations are based on the number of any confirmed (paid) bookings you canceled within the last 12 months.
It is advisable that you maintain 0 cancellations, especially if you want to reach the Superhost status.

What is the Instant Book feature and how does it work?
Instant Book allows guests to instantly book your RV for available dates by paying right away, without needing to send a request for your approval. This means you don't have to approve individual requests manually and allows guests to plan their trips faster.
This feature helps busy hosts save time by filling up their open calendars quickly. As soon as a guest makes an Instant Booking, the dates will be blocked off in the RV calendar and their payment will be processed all in one convenient step.
Tools for success
Some hosts may initially feel hesitant to use Instant Book because they want to have additional information about potential guests before booking, which is why we have designed a suite of tools to help:
RV rules & preferences: Before guests can use Instant Book, they must review and agree to your booking preferences and RV rules. If a guest does not meet those requirements, they'll be unable to book your RV instantly.
Calendar sync: You can sync your RVezy calendar with other peer-to-peer RV rental calendars such as Outdoorsy and RVshare — meaning you can track all rentals with RVezy's calendar and have your calendar always up-to-date.
Pre-booking message: Hosts using Instant Book can provide a pre-booking message. This requires guests to read and respond to the message before they confirm their reservations.
Pro tip: Keeping your calendar up-to-date is the key to using Instant Book successfully. If your calendar is out-of-date, you could get surprised by unexpected bookings or cancel a booking due to a scheduling error, which could result in a cancellation fee.
Benefits
The benefits of the Instant Book feature include:
- Faster bookings: Confirm trips without having to approve each request.
- Increased listing views: Using Instant Book to process bookings positively affects your response rate, which can improve your listing's placement in overall search results. Guests can also narrow their search to Instant Book listings only by using the search filters.
- Attracts serious guests: Listings with Instant Book are more popular with guests who want a fast way to secure their chosen RV and have already confirmed their trip plans.
After receiving an Instant Booking, you'll need to acknowledge the booking by responding to the guest's message within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking.
If a guest tries to instantly book your RV for delivery, a festival/event or if the request is less than 3 days away from the start date, you will receive a normal booking request instead. For any request that does come through, you'll need to respond by accepting or declining the reservation or messaging the prospective guest within 48 hours of the initial message.
Feature availability
Reliability is key to being a great host, especially when using Instant Book, as accurate calendar availability is very important to avoid unexpected cancellations.
Therefore, Instant Book is available to all hosts who have achieved Superhost status. However, it may also be available for hosts who are already on their way to achieving Superhost status, and have consistently maintained an acceptance rate of 75% or higher, a response rate of 90% or above and have at least one confirmed booking the last calendar year.
Activating the featureIf you're eligible to activate the Instant Book feature, head to the RVezy app where you'll find your RV listing under 'more'. Click Edit Listing and find the Earn More section:
From there, you'll be able to toggle the feature on or off at any time.
-
What are the best questions to ask the guest?
When you receive a booking request and start communicating with a guest, you will want to keep a few things in mind throughout your conversation including:
- The details of their itinerary: You want to ensure that the guest is planning an itinerary you are comfortable with and is not going to any of the restricted or prohibited travel areas.
- The number of people going on the trip: Guests should already know how many people can sleep in your RV based on your listing, however, it's always good to check that your RV will have enough seatbelts and beds to accommodate everybody. You'll also want to check if the guest is planning on bringing any pets.
-
The pick-up and drop-off times and location: It's best to iron out these details as early on as possible to avoid any issues on the start date of the rental. Be sure to set your preferred pick-up and drop-off times in your listing preferences so that your guests know what to expect right away. Try to coordinate with the guest what times and location work best for both your schedules to pick up and return the RV.
- If the guest has requested delivery, confirm with them the location where they wish to have you deliver your RV and make sure the delivery fee is accurate before accepting their request.
-
The guest's comfort/experience level: It's always good to check how experienced and comfortable the guest is with RVing. Some guests will be trying out RVing for the first time, while others may be experienced RVers.
- If the guest is planning on towing your trailer, it's also good to check their level of experience with towing to make sure you are comfortable letting them do so.
- The guest's towing vehicle and equipment (for trailer hosts): If you are a trailer host and the guest is planning on towing your trailer, you'll want to make sure that they have the right vehicle and equipment to safely tow your trailer. This includes verifying their vehicle's towing capacity, tow hitch size, connector pins, etc.
-
Your personal policies: If you have any specific conditions or restrictions you want to enforce, it's best to mention them right off the bat. If the booking moves forward and the guest pays, you won't be able to enforce any other conditions later.
- This may include pets, smoking, roadside assistance selection, usage of certain features or equipment, etc.
- The guest's age: All guests should be at least 25 years old. If you have doubts about a guest's age, it's good to check with them before allowing them to proceed with the booking.

What is EZYmatch and how does it work for Superhosts?
The EZYmatch feature allows Superhosts to be notified of guests potentially interested in RVs in their area, and to connect with them by sending them a special offer.
How it works
When a guest's booking request is declined or cancelled by a host, or even if it expires for an RV similar to yours in your area, you'll be notified of a new EZYmatch result. You can then review some of the guest's trip details and decide if you're interested in renting your RV to them. If so, you'll be able to send them a special offer.
Every time you receive a new EZYmatch result, you'll be notified by email. You'll also have a notification in your RVezy Dashboard letting you know that you've received new results.To view your new results, head to My Bookings > EZYmatch.
You'll be provided with the following information:
- Guest's name
- Number of guests
- Trip dates
- Destination
- Type of RV
With this information on hand, you can decide whether you'd like to reach out to this guest or not. If so, hit the Send Offer button and you'll be able to send them a special offer.
Once a special offer is sent to the guest, the booking will be treated like any other booking, meaning that the guest will review the offer and decide whether they want to make a payment to confirm the booking or decline your offer.
EZYmatch results will be automatically deleted after 7 days if you do not address them.
Availability
EZYmatch is only available for Superhosts and can be activated in the Earn More section of your listing.

Why is my listing not appearing as a Featured RV?
If you would like more information on Featured RVs, visit this article: What is a Featured RV?
When your RV is featured, your listing will appear in the Featured RVs section of the search results in your area above the other RVs that are not featured.
As a lot of RV hosts will opt-in to the Featured RV functionality, your listing may not appear in the results all the time. To give every featured RV host a chance to appear in this section, and to display RVs that best fit the guest's needs based on their search criteria, the order of the Featured RVs will change every day. We also only display the top 3 ranked RVs in the list at any given time.

If you want to ensure that your listing is appearing in the Featured RVs section, follow the steps below:
- Complete a search on the platform for a date range where you know your RV is available and for a duration that meets the minimum number of nights criteria for your listing
- Select your type of RV in the search filters
- Zoom in to your area using the map to the location of your RV
- If your listing still doesn't appear on the first page of Featured RVs, scroll through the listings using the arrows to see if it appears a bit further down
If your listing still does not appear, you can:
- Ensure that the Featured RV option is turned on for your listing by going into the Earn More section of your listing. If you've confirmed that you've opted in and your listing still does not appear:
- Wait 24 hours and complete the above steps once again. Your listing might be promoted more highly tomorrow.

Can I list my RV on multiple platforms?
As a host, you have the freedom to list your RV for rent on multiple platforms. This means that you can reach a wider audience and increase your chances of getting bookings. However, it is important to remember that if you choose to list your RV on multiple platforms, you need to regularly update your calendar to avoid double bookings. This means that you should block off dates and customize prices on each platform to ensure that your RV is not booked for the same dates on two different platforms. While you can list your RV on other platforms, it is important to note that according to section 10.5 of our Terms of Service, you are not allowed to redirect RVezy guests to another RV rental platform. This means that you cannot promote or direct guests to book your RV through another platform while using RVezy. We have this policy in place to ensure a fair and transparent booking process for all our users.

What do I do once my RV is published?
As an RVezy host, you’ll need to get ready for your first booking request, as it can come sooner than you think!
The better you understand the booking process, the easier it’ll be to provide a streamlined rental process for you and your guests. Here are the basics to get you ready for that first guest.
A few easy steps to finalize your account
Your RV may be published live for rent on RVezy, but you still have to finish a couple of sections to complete your account - your insurance profile and banking information.
Your insurance profile qualifies you to use RVezy’s commercial insurance policy for your bookings, which is mandatory for any host that is using RVezy's insurance for their rentals. This can be completed in 5-10 minutes and requires some basic information about you and your RV.
We'll also need the direct deposit details for your bank account, where payouts for your rentals will be sent on the first day of the trip. There's no need for void cheques or statements from your bank, just fill out the information and we'll take care of the rest.
Wait, is it even available that weekend?
One of the most important tools to help you stay on top of your rentals is your RV availability calendar. You should block off dates you know the RV won’t be available, so guests don’t try to book them. It’s never a fun conversation to have to turn down a prospective guest to let them know you’re camping yourself! RVezy recommends heading into your calendar and blocking off any dates the RV is unavailable.
Receiving booking requests
It won’t take long for you to receive your first booking request now that your RV is live. If a guest is interested in renting your RV, they will send you an initial booking request. This booking request will have the basic information on the request such as:
- Rental dates
- Number of RV guests
- RV experience of the guest
- Location of the rental
- Potential payout for you as the host
- A message from the guest on their travel plans
At this point, you have two choices as the RV host: accept or decline the request. You are free to ask additional questions beforehand, such as more information on their driving/towing experience or details of their itinerary. If you have no issues and are interested in the rental, you can accept the request. Once accepted, the guest will be able to make their payment and secure the booking. Just remember that nothing is confirmed until the guest makes their payment.
Once the guest makes their payment, the trip is confirmed!
Response rate
Your response rate measures how quickly and consistently you respond to new requests and inquiries from guests. This metric will be made visible to guests when they are viewing your RV and your profile. The most efficient way to manage your booking activity is with our mobile app, which allows you to quickly action requests and inquiries.
Now you're ready! There are many more useful tools and features throughout your account to help you become a successful host, so be sure to explore and see what works best for you!

How can I optimize my RV listing for the search results?
Whether this is your first season with RVezy or you are looking to get more from your listing, one of the most important things to keep in mind is your position in the search results. This is where potential guests will find you when searching for RVs in your area!
The best way to ensure your listing is successful on RVezy is to be proactive in all things by making use of all of the features that give you full control of your listing.
As a host of RVezy, the position of your RV in the search will be determined by how proactive you are in managing your listing. We try to measure this in a few ways, all of which we’ve broken down for you below. If you want to get the most out of your RV year-round, you’ll want to make sure you’ve covered all of your bases.
Optimizing your listing
There are lots of ways to optimize your listing. You can do this by experimenting with pricing, add-ons, or discounts as well as customized offers. Keep in mind that you should make sure to have all of these factors in place first so your RV stays as close to the top of the search as possible.
Here’s a quick checklist of the factors we use to arrange search results:
- Number of photos
- Response rate
- Acceptance rate
- Using the app
As we develop the search algorithm on the site and make changes to the way we rank local listings, we will always keep you updated on anything you need to know.
- Number of photos
- Having six or more clear photos on your listing will not only improve your search results but attract more guests to your listing.
- Make sure your pictures give guests the full layout of your RV and make sure it looks clean and tidy.
- Show off your best features and what makes your RV special - show off the living areas, amenities, and features guests will love.
- Response rate
- Your response rate is one of the easiest ways to improve your search results: the faster you respond to a guest’s questions or requests, the better.
- We keep track of this because 90% of guests book with the host that responds and communicates with them first, and they leave the best reviews for responsive and helpful hosts.
- Acceptance rate
- Declining bookings or letting them expire will affect the position of your RV in the search results. Active and responsive hosts will always stay near the top of searches for their location.
- App download
- Another way for us to measure and place the best hosts' RVs is whether or not you’re using the app to message guests, update your listing, and receive notifications. This will help your search rankings as well as ensure you never miss a potential booking while you’re on the go.
These are the current ways in which we measure host responsiveness, and you can do lots more to improve your chances with guests. Keeping your calendar up to date, setting a minimum number of nights, and explaining your policies and preferences in your listing description can also help improve the rental demands for your RV.
